Don't let the Disney+ price hike affect you
Even if the price of the Disney+ subscription increases, discover how to save a large portion of the cost.
Disney+ landed in Spain about a year ago, this platform offers movies and series through streaming. Its first year in its adventure through Spain has not gone bad in terms of content, although we expected a bit more. Its catalog contains classic titles like Mulan, Aladdin, The Simpsons or a band similar to us like the backyard band.
This year Disney has decided to incorporate Star Wars and a handful of movies and series, good news although as often happens, it comes with not so good news. The bad news is that there is a price increase, this increase is a bit confusing as it applies differently depending on the user.
How this decision may affect you
Starting February 23, the price for the Disney+ subscription will increase from 6.99 euros per month to 8.99 euros per month, although the current annual subscription is at 69.99€, it will cost 89.99€ annually. This increase will affect immediately to new users, if you are already subscribed it can be applied in two ways. If you have a monthly subscription, this increase will apply to you starting August 22, 2021. If your subscription type is annual and ends before August 22, 2021, the price of €69.99 will be applied for this year, however if your renewal is after August 22, the new rate will apply, that is, €89.99 per year.
How can I save?
Disney+, allows sharing a subscription with several users but limits concurrent users to 4 that can enjoy the platform at the same time. Thanks to Sharingful and its users, you will be able to enjoy Disney+ for a much lower price. You can save up to 75% of the monthly price. On Sharingful, you can share your subscription with up to 3 other people, and each user will pay an equitable part of the subscription. If the price is 8.99, each user will pay the family creator 2.25€, without Sharingful's commission.
