Let the Disney+ price hike not affect you.

Disney+ landed in Spain about a year ago, this platform offers movies and series through streaming. Its first year on its adventure through Spain has not gone badly in terms of content, although we expect a tad more. This year Disney has decided to incorporate Star Wars and a good handful of movies and series, good news although as often happens, it is accompanied by not so good news. The bad news is that there is an upcoming price increase, this increase is a bit confusing since it applies differently depending on the user.

How this decision can affect you

As of February 23rd, the price for a Disney+ subscription will rise from 6.99 euros per month to 8.99 euros per month, although the current annual subscription is at 69.99€, it will go up to 89.99€ annually. This increase will immediately affect new users; if you are already subscribed it can be applied in two ways. If you have a monthly subscription this increase will apply from August 22nd, 2021. If your type of subscription is annual and ends before August 22nd, 2021, you will be charged the price of 69.99€ for this year; however, if your renewal is after August 22nd, the new rate will apply to you, that is, 89.99€ per year.

How can I save?

Disney+, allows sharing a subscription with several users but limits to 4 concurrent users who can enjoy the platform at the same time.
